SUMMARY:Social Impact Initiative: Serving Hope with GraceWay Village
DESCRIPTION:We have a meaningful opportunity this month to come together in service and support GraceWay Village in Fort Pierce. \nOn Thursday\, July 16\, from 4:15–6:15 PM\, HRBLC will be volunteering onsite to help support GraceWay’s café meal service. GraceWay has an immediate need that evening\, as the church group that typically serves meals is unavailable\, so our chapter has the chance to step in and help fill an important gap. \nThey are looking for 12–15 volunteers to assist with serving approximately 500 meals during a fast-paced\, hands-on service window. Volunteers may help with packing meals\, serving on the food line\, and supporting the team throughout the evening. \nPlease see the flyer for more details. \nWe are just a few days away\, so we are asking members to please let us know if you are able to attend and help out by Monday\, July 13. This will allow us to confirm our volunteer count with GraceWay and ensure they have the support they need. \nIf you are interested in signing up or have any questions\, please contact Spring Watson at 772-321-3808 or Sarah Dwyer at 732-859-2370. \nAdditional ways to give: Participants are also welcome to bring donations to support GraceWay’s pantry and children’s closet. Suggested items include non-perishable food\, new socks and/or underwear for ages 0–18\, and gently used or new children’s clothing. \nThank you for helping HRBLC show up in service to our community. We hope to see you there!
